Hi Garry,
Regarding adverts still posted, but are presumably no longer for sale, would it be an idea for those who make an enquiry about a boat for sale, to be able to mark the advert in some way, if they don't receive a reply from the owner. This has happened to me on more than one advert, and those boats are still being advertised.Unfortunately for you, you have no way of knowing if those boats are still for sale or not. Therefore unable to delete any until notified.

Well if anyone contacts a seller and is told the item is sold/no longer available they have 3 options.
1) ask the seller to update Ad to say its sold.
2) post a message here or on the relevant d=for sale section.
3) click on the ! on the post and report it.

As i already have said very few adverts get removed after 6 months because item is not sold so while it could be better its not that big a problem and compared to old for sale system where ads could be there for 18 months or more its far better.
